I'm a recent convert to Mac and own a MBP 10.8.3. Before purchasing the Apple I was told that Windows would be able to read a FAT32 formatted drive. Silly me for not digging deeper 'cause it turns out Windows will not mount a FAT32 drive formatted on a Unix. Now I'm screwed unless I can find a 3rd party app that will allow me to write to NTFS on the Mac. I must have the ability to transfer JPEG files from Mac to Windows.

Had I to do it over again, I would never have purchased the Mac....it's a great piece of hardware but the software is childish and the file system incompatability with Windows are show stoppers. Now I'm stuck with an expensive piece of hardware that doesn't fit me need.
